VAT increase

Important Information: VAT Increase from 10% to 14%

We want to inform you that the Finnish government has decided to raise the value-added tax (VAT) on sports and wellness services from 10% to 14%. This change will take effect on January 1, 2025, and will result in a slight price adjustment for our services.

What does this mean for you?

The VAT increase applies to the following services:

• Annual and monthly memberships
• Single visits and 10 x visit cards

Important to note:

• If you have purchased a 10 x visit card or annual membership before January 1, 2025, the VAT increase will not affect it.
• Gold memberships are not affected by the VAT increase.

Why is VAT increasing?

The VAT increase is part of the government’s plan to strengthen public finances and affects several industries and services in Finland.
